Lernox is designed as an offline-first flashcard application. We prioritize your privacy and minimize data collection:

Personal Data: We do not require you to create an account with us or submit personal information (like your name or email) to use the core features of the app.
Google Authentication & Drive Data: If you choose to use the Cloud Backup feature, the app will request access to your Google Drive via Google OAuth. Lernox only requests access to the specific files created by this application (using the `drive.appdata` scope). We do not have access to any other files in your Google Drive.

2. How We Use Google User Data

We use your Google Drive access strictly for the following purposes:

To upload and sync your flashcard database backup files.
To download and restore your progress on other devices using the same Google account.

No Sharing: We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your Google user data with any third parties under any circumstances. All data transfer happens directly between your device and Google servers.

3. Data Storage and Offline Resilience

All your flashcards, categories, and learning history are stored locally on your device using an offline database. If you do not enable the Google Drive backup, your data remains strictly on your device.
